OPM's Prince Of Pop, Erik Santos has been a homegrown name in our music industry since he was hailed as the first Star In A Million winner 10 years back. He had sung songs that we embraced through the years, especially those used as TV and movie themes. He had captivated us with his talent and he had proven that no one can compare to him as a performer as he continuously holds his grip to fame. From being a singing contest winner, Erik holds his throne on top of the music industry, alongside with other music icons that we have. Now, as 10 years of a successful career run is worth to be celebrated, Erik will stage-up an anniversary concert entitled "inTENse: A Decade with the Prince of Pop"
As we all know, Erik has already performed countless concerts here and around the world, when asked on how this concert will be different from any other concerts he had, Erik said, "Intense talaga 'to, mga guests ko palang di ba? Syempre sampung taon na ako sa industriya, sisiguraduhin kong sulit yung concert nato." The concert's special guests are Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino, Teleserye Themesong Queen Angeline Quinto, Comedy Concert Queen AiAi delas Alas, Concert Queen Pops Fernandez, and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid! Wow, intense indeed! Erik said that all of his guests have a special part in his 10 year journey in showbiz. Erik also said that G-Force will be a part of his concert which means that he will dance and show off his grooves and moves! Exciting!
10 wonderful years of music that captured our hearts. I must admit that I am indeed a fan. The moment he sings a song, it's magic. His ballads will leave anyone awestruck. Amongst Erik's recorded songs, "My Love Is Here" is the one closest to my heart. Now, as Erik marks another milestone in his career, I wish for more decades to come for the one and only Prince of Pop!
