LG G2 is now here in the Philippines! #LGG2DayPH

As I have said before, I am not a tech blogger but I wanted to be one. So when I got an invite for the official launch of LG's newest flagship phone the LG G2, I immediately said yes! I have heard about the phone, actually I am planning to buy a new phone this Christmas as a well-deserved gift for myself! So I came across several reviews about the phone since it was launched in the US as I have seen "un-boxing" or "first impression" videos... even phone review videos were already up.. but much has been said about G2, I wanted to still have my first look on the phone as it will be launched as well here in the Philippines.

The launch was held at the grand ballroom of Solaire Resort and Casino last Sept. 25, 2012! The event was jam-packed with all the media, retailers, spectators, valued guests and LG's heads were present as the latest smartphone innovation unravels!

Also present at the event are LG's brand ambassadors, Kiefer Ravena, Maxene Magalona and Paulo Avelino, all looking fabulous and dashing that night, proudly showing-off their G2s! (that made me feel a little bit.. okay fine.. not a little but.. it made me feel inggit BIG TIME! hahaha)

We all had the chance to get our hands on the G2 in the dedicated Experience Zone that displays G2s in both black and white...

LG had prepared a program and demo of the phone in the event that made it clear why it is hailed as "the best smartphone in the world" by stuff.tv! Surely there is no doubt that LG is stepping up the game in the telecommunications industry by the release of the g2! And we all know how Pinoys are totally hooked in smartphones! I admit that I instantly fell in love with G2 since I held it in my hands! Too much awesomeness packed in this gadget!

I will give you some quick hints on why LG G2 should be part of your "to-have" list!
-The REAR BUTTON
Let is take a look at the main noticeable difference that LG G2 made on it's design, the rear button. YES! LG placed the buttons that were usually found in front or on the sides at the back of the phone! Control the volume, power on/off, pull up quick memo and take pictures, all of those functions are within the easy reach of your index finger..! Wow! LG has observed how we hold our phones and discovered a convenient innovation that will let g2 rise above it's main competitors!

-The 5.2" FULL HD IPS DISPLAY
The screen of LG G2 was by far, really impressive! 5.2" was packed in this beautiful monster device! We can maximize the phone's functions better with the "just right" size of the screen.The screen was maximized because of the phone's slim bezel! Not too large, but not small either!

-The SNAPDRAGON
LG G2's breakthrough processor of 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 was a true plus! It made the phone snappy and fast! Lagging will never be a problem now! Kudos on that!

-The KNOCK ON
Since the G2 has no buttons in front of the screen, LG has their way of making it easier for users to put the phone to sleep mode.. it's just by tapping the screen twice.. same goes if you want to turn it back on. I find it as a very useful feature that will let users conserve power by putting their phone into sleep mode in two taps!

-The GUEST MODE
I know you hate it when something private on your phone are checked and seen by others! Privacy has been given importance by LG in creating a guest mode feature on the G2! Now, you can lend your phone to friends, and have no worries of your privacy being taken for granted! For me, the Guest Mode also helps in being secured on your personal information stored in your handset and this is truly on of the many features I love about G2!

-The AUDIO ZOOM
This feature made me really happy! In recording videos, especially in an open area with too many background noises, you can select what you wanna hear by zooming to your target audio and maximizing the audio capture on your target. This is really a very helpful feature especially to me as a blogger who commonly cover events! Now, audio capture can never be the same with G2!

-The PLUG AND POP
Music junkies will understand how we want convenience and easy access to menus that will let us enjoy music through our phones, LG learned that. So G2 has a plug and pop feature, as soon as you plug your headphone, a quick menu will show up at the bottom of the page for quick access in your phone's music player, video player, etc!

-The HI-FI SOUND
LG promised crispiness in our sound experience with LG G2, as they bragged the Hi-Fi sound that gives authentic ear pleasure way more than regular cd audio we are used to. This technology has been mastered by LG, because they learned from you!

-The POWER
Yes, the battery life is indeed an important thing for phones. Even if you have the most feature-packed gadget but it's empty batt, it's useless right? So LG had made sure that G2 will give a good fight on battery life packing it with 3000mAh SiO+ battery that can give more juices of power than the regular Li-Ion battery that most smartphones used to have! Yey!

-The OIS CAMERA
Well, LG G2 is equipped with top of the line camera! I said so, because it has a 13 megapixel camera with OIS (optical image stabilizer) that makes capturing of photos not much of a hassle! And a great video capturing device we have with G2 as it captures 1080p FULL HD video with 60fps! Wow! And you know what is most captivating? It's the SHOT AND CLEAR camera feature! Have you ever experienced being photobombed? Well, shot and clear will let you remove those photobombers away from the frame! Yes... this feature made everyone clap on the demo at the launch event! For that, LG G2 made me wanna brush off my DSLR! Hahaha! Smart and creative indeed, LG!

These are a few of the many reasons why you got to have LG G2 and with a very reasonable SRP of P29,900 in the market, who can say no to this little beauty, huh? I actually wanted the device so bad that I even joined their twitter contest to win it! Seriously. But then luck was not on my side, but I wanted to congratulate everyone who won and owned the LG G2! I just wish that this is not the closest I can get with the LG G2! Santa? Where are you? You know I have been real good all year, this may be the reason why.. Hahaha!

It was a really great experience to be a part of an official launch of one of the highly-acclaimed phone brands! LG G2 is really a powerful and beautiful gadget! LG made sure to made me believe how they learned from the people, and as of now, I will say that LG G2 has a strong fight in being the world's best smartphone, but I think I should have a chance of experiencing G2 first before I can provide a stable verdict. Definitely this is LG's best so far! Congratulations to LG Philippines!
