Star Magic workshops: Elevating standards through Hollywood techniques!

Star Magic is proud to be conducting their Summer workshops with a new style adapted from Hollywood, the "Chubbuck Technique"...

Director-slash-writer-slash-acting coach Rahyan Carlos attended an intensive training program from one of Hollywood's finest, Ivana Chubbuck. For two months, Direk Rahyan attended different levels of acting classes (Introductry to Master) wherein he got the chance to explore the "Chubbuck Technique" as a coach and as an actor too.

Ivana Chubbuck is the author of the book "The Power of the Actor" and she was the personal acting coach of Academy Award winners and nominees like Halle Berry, Jim Carrey, Charlize Theron, Brad Pitt and more. Direk Rahyan earned a certificate from the classes he attended, which made him the only Filipino authorized to teach the "Chubbuck Technique" here in the Philippines.

Star Magic is now offering a Hollywood style attack on learning and honing acting skills for the future of our local entertainment quality. The workshops will be for both amateurs and professionals this 2013 Star Magic Summer Workshops. Direk Rahyan confirmed that even the big stars of today like John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Piolo Pascual, etc. will still undergo this technique as soon as they find time on their busy schedules.

The Star Magic Acting Studio will be open for 3 categories, the Introductory class, the Advance class and the Master class, which is said to be ranging from 13,000Php to around 19,000Php depending on the class fitted.
