It was my first time to personally encounter the Asia's Acoustic Sweetheart Ms. Sabrina Orial on her recently held blogger's conference. I was happy to finally meet the voice behind my most favorite soothing acoustic version of Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles, from her very first "I Love Acoustic" album.
Far as from where it all started, now, Sabrina is already on her latest record "I Love Acoustic 5". She was best known for her acoustic versions of current hit songs! SHe had established a name in the music industry not just in the Philippines but across other Asian countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. And as a special treat to all the Asian supporters, Sabrina is joined by the Asiansation himself, Mr. Christian Bautista in a version of "Terrified" originally by Katherine McPhee and Zachary Levi which happens to be Sabrina's latest single as of now. Sabrina said that she was happy to finally collaborate with Christian, because a lot of supporters were requesting for it and finally, their duet is now enjoying regular airplay on radio stations and music channels here in the Philippines and in other parts of Asia. Sabrina was recognized to be the "most downloaded artist" from Awit Awards and she reached the double-platinum mark of record sales for her "I Love Acoustic 4" album in Indonesia. Her album collab with Joe D'mango "Acoustic Love Notes" also reached gold record sales in Indonesia! Her "I Love Acoustic 5" started strong being #1 in Astroplus and #2 on Odyssey album charts! She is totally an achiever in the field of music.

I am mighty proud of Sabrina as she is now exploring greater heights in including another original track on this album, "Oh Boy". This song is definitely one of her edge from other acoustic cover singers. She already released two originals from the Acoustic Love Notes album entitled "One True Love" and "Over For Now But Not Forever". Now, she said that she was aiming to write more songs and release them in the future. She is hoping to make an album with original songs and not all covers and step-by-step she is going there.
Oh Boy is one of the most up beat song in the album but if you will truly dig-in the lyrics you will somehow feel that this can be the next theme song of hopeless romantic girls out there. On a personal note, beyond a distinct voice, a great style and pure talent.. Sabrina Orial was a sweet and bubbly lady. As I have observed she was witty and open. I am truly supporting her and I am hoping for all the best in her career. She deserves to conquer Asia, and next... the world. Cheers Sab! :)
