Ms. Erich Gonzales will take on lead of this Saturday's Maalaala Mo Kaya feature. The longest running drama anthology on TV has chosen Erich to portray as Grace Poe-Llamanzares who was a former MTRCB chairperson and a senatorial aspirant.
The 44-year-old Poe-Llamanzares is the adopted daughter of the late film icon Fernando Poe, Jr. and veteran actress Susan Roces. Completing the lead casts are Mr. Tonton Gutierrez as FPJ and Ms. Sheryl Cruz will play as Roces. Tonton said that he was honored and nervous in portraying as "Da King". He said, "kumbaga nakikita ko siya, hindi ko man siya nakakasama sa pelikula, nakakausap ko siya, so lahat nung memories na 'yun, binabalik ko lang, kung paano siya kumilos, kung paano siya magsalita," that's how he coped up on being FPJ on MMK.

Erich said, "Isa nga pong malaking karangalan na gumanap bilang isang Ms. Grace Poe dito sa life story niya. Makikita natin 'yung mga pinagdaanan niya, nung bata siya, nung paglaki niya, 'yung relationship niya po sa mga magulang niya, na king and queen and Philippine movies." and on the other hand, Grace Poe said that she was likewise glad and thankful that a good actress such as Erich was chosen to portray her. Grace hopes that her life story will inspire others and will highlight the virtue of adoption. "I also would like the story to pay tribute to the selflessness and generous spirit of my parents," she explained.
