Cinema One Originals schedules in TrinNoma, Robinsons Galleria and Glorietta!

It's that time of the year again for... Cinema One Originals Festival! Yes... my loved indie film fest is back! Last year was the first time I started to get exposed to indie films and I would like to testify how indie films are not just for entertainment, the're for EXPERIENCE. I was just fond of watching Hollywood films before and for all the time, I have overlooked how brilliant Pinoy film makers were.

So last year as I was able to experience a few indie films under Cinema One Originals. I was able to watch the fun and kinky Slumber Party starring RK Bagatsing, Markki Stroem, Archie Alemania and Sef Cadayona the film made me laugh out loud. I also supported Mariposa Sa Hawla Ng Gabi a film by Direk Richard Somes starring Ms. Erich Gonzales, this film is truly out of the norm. I was boggled and disturbed by the movie in a good way.

And this year, I know that movie entries are just getting better... and I promise to watch as many entries as I can and write movie reviews to all of the movies I will watch...So here are the movie schedules of Cinema One Originals 2013:

TriNoma
Robinsons Galleria
Glorietta
I am highly excited, because I honestly believe that ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN A CINEMA ONE ORIGINALS MOVIE... :)
If you will ask me, I have a few films in my high priority..The films I'm most excited to see personally
1. Shift
The acting debut of one of our OPM icons, Pop Rock Princess Yeng Constantino! A film that touches the call center / BPO industry. This is the movie I am most excited to see in this year's Cinema One Originals Film Fest. Here is the movie trailer:
2. Saturday Night Chills
A film by one of my most fave director, Ian LoreƱos starring Matteo Guidicelli, Rayver Cruz and Joseph Marco! I will watch this film along with the fans of Joseph in their block screening this Nov.17 at Robinsons Galleria, 7:30pm, you can  text 09054175956 for tickets! Well, here is the movie's teaser:
3. Islands
I am highly intrigued by this movie, as said, the film is about  "..two astronauts. As they enter Earth’s atmosphere the structure transforms.." Well, this stars one of my loves in the biz, Mr. Benjamin Alves.
Here is  quick teaser:
I am also looking forward to watch Angustia, Sitio, Alamat Ni China Doll, Bendor, Iskalawags, Bukas Na Lang Sapagkat Gabi Na, Riddles Of My Homecoming, Blue Bustamante, Kabisera, Woman Of Ruins, Philippino Story, Ang Pagbabalat Ng Ahas. So please go out and watch Filipino movies! Starting this November 11 to 19 in TriNoma, Robinsons Galleria and Glorietta, take your pick and watch in a selection of 15 fresh new movies that will give you an experience to keep. See you there!♥

Vilma Santos' Ekstra The Bit Player, NOW SHOWING nationwide!

The award-winning Star for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos has fulfilled a new milestone in her ultimately successful career... She stars in the highly acclaimed "indie" film, EKSTRA The Bit Player from this year's Cinemalaya film festival. From being a great indie film, now Quantum Films and Star Cinema (as celebrating their 20th year as being the biggest film outfit of the country) releases EKSTRA nationwide starting today, Aug. 14, 2013 in cinemas!

The power diva Jonalyn Viray will debut as a movie actress in Cattleya An OFW Story!

Last August 2, 2013, a few of my blogger friends and I has been present to the press con of the up-coming indie film Cattleya An OFW Story to support our dearest Ms. Jonalyn Viray as she marks her movie acting debut with this film at Rembrandt Hotel in Tomas Morato, Q.C.

Bwakaw: In theaters September 5!

The Cinemalaya Box Office Hit BWAKAW is set for commercial release this September 5, 2012 (Wednesday) on all leading cinemas!

Bwakaw is an indie film directed by Jun Robles Lana, co-produced by Cinemalaya, Tony Tuviera, and TV5 but will be distributed on mainstream by Star Cinema.

Before we go to the movie itself, let me just brag some on Bwakaw's achievement in the concluded Cinemalaya 2012 awards. They bagged the "Audience Choice", "NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema) Award", and the "Best Actor" for Eddie Garcia. It also earned nods from globally renowned movie fests including the Toronto International Film Festival and New York Film Festival. No doubt that the movie was rated ‘A’ by the Cinema Evalution Board (CEB). Truly, a film that has a lot to be proud of.
