MMFF 2013: Kaleidoscope World

An entry to Metro Manila Film Festival, I am mighty proud to promote Kaleidoscope World! My personal most anticipated film in the festival... Well, I will surely watch as many movies I can on the festival but this is on top of my priority... Why? Because far before since I watched Step Up 1, 2, 3, and 4... I did believe that we Pinoys can make such a dance film. And I am extremely happy that two dance floor maniacs will play the lead... the pretty and always impressive Yassi Pressman as the lead actress... and my super crush Sef Cadayona as lead actor. I can't wait because I do love their tandem on the dance floor, now they are gearing up to wow everyone from the big screen...
(behind the scenes)
Here is a quick movie trailer for everyone to enjoy:
Thrilling enough that the great master rapper Francis M fueled this movie's soundtrack! Truly Pinoy and proud! The trailer never failed to give me jitters. Let us support this film! Especially to all the youth of this generation.. I am pretty sure his film will capture our hearts!
Kaleidoscope World opens this December 25, 2013 in cinemas! Please do like their FB page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/KWmovie.

Gloc-9 MKNM (Mga Kwento Ng Makata) - poetry and music fusion!

I am a true blooded rock music lover. I love rock, but not too hardcore. I love bands. I love the sound of guitars and drums together. Hiphop and rap is not my thing. But, there is one rapper who already got me hooked in his music since I first heard his song "Simpleng Tao". Yes, GLOC-9!
Rap is his game and he's so good at it. Now Gloc-9 is the leading premiere rapper of the Philippines! After 5 successful albums, he is still on track now with his newly released 6th album MKNM (Mga Kwento ng Makata) this time under Universal Records. Gloc-9 is proud of this new record and even said that it took him six months to work on it. He is ultimately satisfied with the album which includes collaborations with some of the greatest acts in the Philippine music scene like Chito Miranda, Bamboo, Ebe Dancel, Jay Durias, Billy Crawford, Cathy Go, etc. Gloc-9 is thankful to Universal Records and said that he is looking forward to do more projects with his new label. Universal Records, on the other hand, claimed that they are proud of Gloc-9 because aside from his own successful album, he is a part of the BIG success of two other album releases that's on the charts from Parokya ni Edgar and Noel Cabangon, which he collaborated with.

Parokya ni Edgar: Inuman Sessions Volume 2 out now!

Parokya ni Edgar has been around the music industry for almost 20 years now, earning them fame and countless hit songs. A true OPM icon, the band consists of Gab, Dindin, Darius, Buwi, Vinci and Chito is holding on strong, having the original 6 members all through the years. When asked on what is keeping the band solid, Chito said that they simply love what they do "Hindi kami mga musikero" Chito explained, "Gusto lang naming mag-banda". It's hard to keep up with a great career in the local music industry for 20 long years! But Parokya ni Edgar's witty, funny, honest and catchy music made it easy for the band to have a tight grip from listeners of different generations. "Kung mapapansin nyo yung mga kanta namin, based on experiences lang talaga.", Chito said that their sound is what they can offer and they don't have a plan in changing their kind of music. I'm sure that their fans and supporters are happy for it.
Now, as a follow-up to the phenomenal hit album Inuman Sessions Vol.1.. eight years ago, the band released the aptly titled Inuman Sessions Vol.2, under Universal Records in CD only and DVD with bonus CD formats.

Parokya ni Edgar Inuman Sessions Vol2 launch: record breaking!

Parokya ni Edgar is not just a band, but a home grown icon for the OPM industry. Timelessly classic as I may say, their hit songs are known not just by ears, but by hearts. Who would disagree to that?! Needless to say, Parokya ni Edgar's newest release: Inuman Sessions Volume 2 from Universal Records is much anticipated.

Last Aug 24, they held an album launch at Eastwood City Central Plaza. Despite the rain, the traffic and all other sorts of hindrances, Parokya never fails to pull the crowd, filling up and going over the venue capacity of 1,500 people and more to that, breaking records of album sales! The album was sold up until they already lack receipts! Imagine that huh?! It was almost like a sold-out concert! There are still some who wasn't able to get a copy of the album and wasn't able to go inside the fences of the main venue.  The crowd is wild! With that being said, it is truly obvious, Parokya ni Edgar was missed!
