The Legal Wife: JC De Vera, Maja Salvador and Angel Locsin ~ Ms. Mighty Mau

ABS-CBN opens a new drama series this 2014 with The Legal Wife, starting this January 27 in Primetime Bida! Top-billed by the finest acts of the Kapamilya network, Maja Salvador, JC De Vera, Jericho Rosales and Angel Locsin. A powerhouse cast indeed! And more to the actors, it has been promised that The Legal Wife offers a compelling story that the audience is sure to embrace. TLW is under the direction of Rory Quintos and Dado Lumibao.

The show's creative head Mr. Henry Quintain together with JC, Maja and Angel graced an intimate blogger's conference for the show. They all share the same happiness and excitement about the new TV series. Sir Henry shared how he was so impressed with the performances of his actors for the show. He said that the show is a must-watch from start til end, "Ang dapat nyong tanungin ay 'bakit legal wife?' ang title nito..."

JC De Vera plays the role of Max. He said that he is the man who is generous in love. This will be JC's very first TV show as a Kapamilya after his network transfer. He said he was happy to be working with his showbiz crush Maja Salvador, "hindi ko naman dinedeny, naging honest naman ako dun, so syempre.. yung naging adjustment... kasi kinakabahan ka, pero at the end of the day, actor ka, kelangan mong gawin ang dapat mong gawin... pero syempre ako masaya, kasi pagkatapos mo ng taping... nakangiti ka.."

Maja Salvador is back on Primetime after playing the role of Margaux in the massive hit drama series Ina, Kapatid, Anak. Now, she's backo on another fierce and fiery role as Nicole Equivel! "Iba't-ibang klase naman yung pag-ibig eh, meron yung hindi ka tatanggapin at hindi ka mamahalin... pero meron at meron yung magmamahal pa rin sa'yo sa kahit anong nagawa mo sa buhay..", Maja explained on why people would fall in love of her character. As exciting as the show's airing gets, we will let Maja take us into another stellar acting showdown with Angel Locsin. Maja said that she already graduated with the "pa-tweetums" roles.. and one of the reasons why she accepted this project is to take herself in a higher level by portraying a character in which she will be challenged.

Angel Locsin is The Legal Wife! She plays the role of Monica. After a TV hiatus, Angel is back on our small screens where she is truly missed. Truly she is one of the best actresses of her generation, she will now give justice to the role highlighting the struggles of the wife, in this age where a lot of stories about marriage failure and infidelity are emerging. "Honestly, etong show na ginagawa namin... hindi naman sya ganun ka-heavy... siguro totoo lang.. totoong nangyayari...", Angel said that she is in all honesty in her new role. She also said that Monica's character should be admired as an empowered woman, "babangon ako kahit anong mangyari...", she explained.
