Yeng Constantino, OPM's Pop Rock Princess, continues to shine, achieving milestones after milestones on her career. Now, she will celebrate her birthday with a rocking concert entitled
"Plugged In" this
November 30, 2013 at Samsung Hall SM Aura. This is definitely a big treat to Yeng's fans and supporters. The concert is presented by Cornerstone Concerts and Academy Of Rock... This is a concert party you shouldn't miss!
Yeng Constantino had built a strong, established career in the music industry. And, there is NO STOPPING... Yeng is up for more! This year has been such a blast for Yeng! Blessings are overflowing. Well, she just had another very successful album that presented a new sound, Metamorphosis. The album already had hit singles that people can't help to get LSS with like B.A.B.A.Y., Chinito, Josephine and Sandata. She already rocked the Big Dome alongside with Bamboo in their "talk of the town" concert entitled BY Request last August.. I felt too bad I missed it, but as I heard their sold-out concert will have some provincial and international repeats next year! Woah! :)
We all know how she started as a Pinoy Dream Academy scholar and now, ironically Yeng is an ambassadress of Academy Or Rock which lets her conquer not only our local music scene, slowly but surely Yeng is now making a mark in the Asian music scene and later on, the world. Last October 12, she graced the "Silvermine Bay Music Festival" in Hong Kong where she sang her original song
Salamat with over 30,000 crowd that sang along with her, even the non-Filipinos. Wow... just wow! AOR even released the "Yeng Guitar Series", a line of signature Yeng guitars that was made available here and in Singapore! Yeng also have a new single that was newly released in Singapore featuring hip-hop/rap act Sheikh Haikel in a feel good, upbeat, rock and hip-hop fusion track entitled "Better Than Yesterday". I am lucky enough to be one of the first few to have heard the song here in the Philippines! It's fresh and Yeng's vocals made the song extra special!
Yeng is now an actress! Yes, Yeng will also invade the big screen through the indie film SHIFT, an entry to this year's Cinema One Originals Film Festival. Yeng said that she was surprised to fall in love in acting. I am excited to watch Shift because I can relate as the story is about a call center agent. Yeng's co-star in the film is Felix Roco, and the movie is directed by Siege Ledesma. I will surely have a movie review soon! ♥

A peek on her journey in life in a concert. Yeng will be joined by Sesa (her side band) and Fiesto Bandido himself, Mr. Rico Blanco. Musical direction by Ria Villena Osorio.
Yeng's aim is not only to celebrate her birthday in a concert but also to give back. This show is for the benefit of
Right Start, an organization that helps underprivileged youth to gain productivity and creativity through after school programs.
