We loved her since she played the role of Cara in the hit teleserye It Might Be You way back 2003! She has consistently marked through the years in every TV series she has been a part of, well, the most recent was her loved and hated "bida-kontrabida" character Margaux of Ina Kapatid Anak where she exceptionally delivered crisp and brilliant acting prowess! More to that, she has won 2 best actress awards (Gawad Urian and FAP) for her notable portrayal as the lead of the well-acclaimed film Thelma! Acting has been her forte as I may say! Wow!
On the other hand, we all know that Maja is also an outstanding dancer on stage! She makes viewers groove with her moves in ASAP every Sunday. No doubt that throughout the her years in the 'biz she has been a mainstay of the variety show, and has been dubbed as "Philippines' Dance Princess".

Now trying out the field of singing, Maja said that she had gone through voice lessons to prepare herself for the series of show that lined up for her. Now, as the concert series has toured the country, already done with it's 10th leg now on going to 11th, we can all claim that Maja has come way too far than just an ordinary showbiz personality. It is evident how she has been pushing herself to her limit to be better and better along the way.
10 years was a journey and to give back, Maja Salvador and Star Magic had staged the Maja Unveils @ 10 series of shows for her to tour, and reach out to her supporters across the country in celebration of her anniversary. They started the a small show at Glorietta in benefit of Ephesus, Maja's chosen charity institution as the show's beneficiary. They have never thought that it will be such a massive success as they stage a show from one location to another. Now, the whole team is hoping that if granted, they can also do a world tour soon.
The team behind Maja Unveils @ 10: comedienne Kakai Bautista, actor/dancer Thou Reyes, singer/dancer Young JV, along with special participation of other Star Magic artists like Rayver Cruz, Jerome Ponce and Enrique Gil. The dance concert tour is choreographed by Gerlo Maguiran of CT Guyz, Nesh Janiola of Hot Legs with Thou Reyes and the Limited Edition.

Upcoming legs of the tour also includes SM San Lazaro on September 28, then Maja will have her “birthday concert” this October 5, 2013 at the NCCC Mall in Davao City with special guests Rayver, Kakai, Thou and Young JV. And on November 9 at the KCC General Santos Convention Center.

To "ganda" Maja... I admire you as a performer, you got the talent and there is no doubt about that, but more so, I admire you for being strong amidst all the trials. They may try to bring you down but you are trying your best to be unbreakable. Thank you for always and always appreciating us, bloggers..
