Paramore returned to the Philippines for the 2nd time last February 15, 2013 for a concert held at Mall of Asia Arena. The band's fans massively anticipated their big come-back dubbed as the "Para-Thrilla in Manila 2"! But adding up to their concert, the Filipino supporters had another surprise for Paramore for their return...
Just right before their concert, Warner Music Philippines, headed by their General Manager Flerry De Leon, gave recognition to Paramore with awards for two of their albums. They received a Platinum record award for “Brand New Eyes” and a Gold record award for “Riot!”. It was given to showcase that their album's sale reached the units here in the Philippines!
Of course, giving back the love, Paramore gave a "beyond-awesome" show! They performed hit songs, both old and new, everyone was singing along as Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis and Taylor York rocked the MOA Arena! The bursting energy was bouncing back and forth from the band and from the audience. It was indeed a very fun night. I should know because I was there at the mosh pit! One EPIC night! "Para-Thrilla in Manila 3" SOON PLEASEEEE?
Anyways, fans (including me) will not wait too long because Paramore is coming out with a new album this April 9th! Their self-titled album will be out on all leading record bars for CDs and will be available for legit downloads on iTunes too. Check out
