A new teleserye will make our weeknights steamier than ever! The most passionate TV show Apoy Sa Dagat is set to premiere this February 11, 2013 in ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida.
Lead by three of the finest acts of today, Diether Ocampo, Angelica Panganiban and Piolo Pascual, they will offer a great story that revolves about love. The series is hot and fierce, we will surely get hooked, directed by two acclaimed directors: FM Reyes and Nick Olanka.
A story about Serena (Angelica) who grew up with not remembering her identity and where she came from. She was just found by a good woman near the sea. The woman also takes care of Ruben (Piolo) as he was left by his father and his brother alone. Ruben and Serena grew up together and fell in love with each other. An unexpected accident will put Serena's love for Ruben on a test. How can Serena save the life of her one true love? What will happen as Anton gets in the picture? And the main thing I was curious about was, who is Rebecca? Where did she come from and what is her purpose on Anton, Serena and Ruben's life? I am personally intrigued by Apoy Sa Dagat, nothing much is revealed and we really need to watch out as it unravel the burning story plot of the TV series every weeknights!
Adding to Piolo, Diether and Angelica, are Angel Aquino, Aiko Melendez, Sylvia Sanchez, Perla Bautista, Liza Lorena, Freddie Webb, Melai Cantiveros, Eric Fructuoso, Regine Angeles, Bryan Santos and Mikaila Ramirez; with the special participation of Nikki Gil, Empress Shuck and Patrick Garcia. Angelica said that she is comfortable in working with Diether Ocampo and Piolo Pascual as her leading men. "Si Diether nagkasama na kami dati sa 'Rubi'... kaya okay naman, kami ni Papa P sa 'Every Breath You Take'..." When asked on who to choose between Diet and Papa P she answered: "Kay Diether po kasi wala akong malisya, kay Piolo.. meron." Piolo has all praises for Angelica Panganiban too, he said "What you see is what you get from Angelica... at napakahusay na aktres... puro take one!" Diether was so proud to be part of this teleserye, "Ang daming emotions na involve sa teleseryeng ito kaya kaabang-abang."

Just by the trailer I saw how intense and compelling the drama series was. Angel Aquino by the way is one of the best 'kontrabida' on TV and I admire her for that! Angelica Panganiban also gives out her remarkable and incomparable acting prowess on this project. Piolo and Diether, has been two of Philippine's ultimate hunk leading men, now they are back to make our cold nights hotter!
