She's The One opens in cinemas!

Our well-loved film outfit Star Cinema continues to offer valued films in line with their 20th year celebration! Now, a fresh light romance movie is here to teach us lessons of life and love... She's The One... starring the country's grand acts.. Mr. Dingdong Dantes and Ms. Bea Alonzo along with the upcoming prime leading man Enrique Gil and the most promising young actress Liza Soberano, from one of my fave director Ms. Mae Czarina Cruz.

Well, needless to say but just by having the line-up of cast, we could tell that it's a penny-worthy film. But She's The One promises more than that. As Ms. Vanessa Valdez (one of the film's writer) said "we were coming from how technology changed the way we write romance.. dati kasi kelangan may habulan papuntang airport bago mo masabi yung feelings mo... ngayong i-text mo na lang..i love you.." Coming from that point of view... She's The One was crafted for us to enjoy... So here is the full trailer for you to take a peek...

The fresh face of Liza Soberano adds a raw energy to the film. I have seen her from the hit movie Must Be Love where she starred with the Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. And from then, I always find her as the sweet young lady. Have you heard her talk? Well, if you haven't you should... the way she talks in person is even sweeter. Haha. Liza plays as Jillian, David's bestfriend.

Enrique Gil is David Esguerra, he is the boy smitten by the girl in the rain. He is brave and he will do everything to find the girl he fell in love with at first sight. Enrique is really skyrocketing to fame. Needless to say, he is truly one of the most successful young stars of today! After the success of his TV series Muling Buksan Ang Puso, now comes a movie where he will shine in his own character! Ms. Vanessa also said that his character is intentional.. "we were saying that.. what if it takes a boy for a man to man up". Dingdong Dantes himself that when the story was given to him, he had no one else in mind to take the role but Enrique. Now the movie will let us see David's journey in finding the girl in the rain.

Dingdong Dantes plays the role of Joaqui. He was described in the movie as Tarzan (watch it to know why) and he is the best friend of Cat. He always have her beside him until David came into the picture. All the while he never realized how he values her more than anyone else. Is it ever to late to let him be true to what he feels? Dingdong is now being tagged as the "Crossover King" as he have acquired to be the King of Kapuso network but at the same time he crosses over to make a film for Star Cinema as She's The One is his third. Well, I can say he is well-loved by Star Cinema. He said that he really had fun with this project and revealed that he has another movie to come up signed with Star Cinema. That made me really excited! But for now, of course, support Dingdong Dantes as Joaqui in She's The One!

Yes, She's The One... the girl in the rain, the bestfriend... Bea Alonzo is Cat. I can say that I had seen most of her movie projects.. from Marian (Close To You), Basha (One More Chance), Mia (Miss You Like Crazy), Diane (Sa'yo Lamang), Sari (The Mistress) and Bobbie Salazar (Four Sisters and a Wedding), I can't even count on how many times she had made me cry in her flicks. Now, in She's The One... Bea is back in the big screen to make us realize that "regret is the saddest word". Cat was a lady who lost her youth due to early responsibility with her family. All this time she cared for everyone she love, including Joaqui, and had overlooked to love herself and to live her life. Not until she met David. Cat is the girl who effortlessly changed her car tires in the middle of the rain whom David fell for. I am really excited to see She's The One as I am sure that Ms. Bea Alonzo will once again make me burst into tears as she does best...

Director Mae Cruz said that more to just watching She's The One, she hopes that we pick up and learn something from the lessons that they want to impart from the movie. Let us all learn to appreciate what we have before it becomes what we had. Do not miss it!

Avril Lavigne premieres "Let Me Go" music video featuring her husband Chad Kroeger

My musical hero, Avril Lavigne continues to mesmerize me with a whooping brand new single "Let Me Go" featuring her husband Chad Kroeger! Sweet right? Haha! Well, the song is not a teeny-bopper sweet nothing! I love her new single, it has a deep story to tell. Avril continues to captivate me as a fan! 

So since I don't want you to have a hassle of looking for it or searching it on youtube/vevo.. well here it is..

Of course, Chad's vocals gave a plus to the song. It was a great music video shot in a classy abode with a bit of mysterious dark feel. And, i know, it is needless to point out that Avril is so stunning in this video, she really is such a beauty. I just love her and her music! I will always be a fan!

Now, can you blame me if I am too stoked to have her latest record? After hit singles Here's To Never Growing Up and Rock N Roll.. all I can say is: I wish her record comes out! Too much of a wait but her new record's release will be on November 5! I will definitely grab it as soon as it's out, while it's hot!

Coco Martin on 'Juan Dela Cruz' and its approaching finale!

Coco Martin has been dubbed as the King of Primetime of ABS-CBN because of his successful seryes. We all know how his 2012 drama series Walang Hanggan took the nation by storm! It was a massive hit. Now, this 2013, as he was crafted to be a modern-day superhero 'Juan Dela Cruz', the show has been an undisputed top-rated action-series since it started airing last February 4, 2013.

Juan Dela Cruz has been a favorite for everyone, be it kids and kids at heart. The show continuously shared good values to its viewers. The story is also something fresh and entertaining. Coco himself has taken his part in contributing for the show's creative side as he is also a consultant of the show. He said,"Si Juan Dela Cruz at ako, iisa yan.." pointing out how he crafts his character close to his personality. He also said that it's the same reason why he always have a lola in his shows. I personally love how show reflects how each  human has their good and bad side and the show teaches the viewers that being good or bad is a matter of choice.

On working with his leading lady Ms. Erich Gonzales, Coco said,"Sobrang iniingatan ko ang mga leading lady ko sa eksena.. lalo na sa mga crucial na eksena". Coco pointed out how he respects Erich and he values their working relationship as on-screen partners. He also said that he will miss working with everyone from JDC as he treats their audiomen, cameramen, PAs and everyone in production as brothers and sisters. They truly have a happy set! I admire how Coco values his staff and crew, he has a good heart to people.

Coco promised that there is more to be excited about the approaching finale of Juan Dela Cruz. More action-packed scenes awaits viewers as Peruha (Diana Zubiri) and Agor (John Regala) fulfills their evil plans to rule the different worlds. As the Tagabantay Juan Dela Cruz continues to fight for the good, he faces his worst enemy, himself as the Anak Ng Dilim. Fighting on Juan's side is Lolo Jules (Eddie Garcia), Asiong (Neil Coleta), Mira (Shaina Magdayao), and Rosario(Erich Gonzales)! So we should keep our grip and hold on to the last ten nights of Juan Dela Cruz!

I felt how Coco has pure love towards his family. He said that his favorite 'Bakal Na Krus' weapon is the shield as he serves the same purpose to his family. He apologizes in keeping his personal life private as he aims for his family to be out of the limelight. He said that he can take intrigues against him but not his family. Coco is indeed a hero on his own. On what's next, Coco Martin looks forward for a quick rest after Juan Dela Cruz. Then, he is looking forward in doing one mainstream and one indie film if given the chance.

Smart Bro Live and Loud rocked Trinoma!

Four of the country's finest OPM rock icons graced the first-ever interactive concert presented by the wireless leader Smart Communications Inc. Ely Buendia, Rico Blanco, Raimund Marasigan and Barbie Almalbis staged a one rocking night of music and technology! The concert was held last October 4 at Trinoma Mindanao Carpark! What a night to remember for OPM!

Too bad I wasn't able to finish the entire show due to work schedule but I enjoyed my stay at the event! Smart had set up booths to enjoy in the field.. The crowd totally had fun with the cool stops! Here are some snapshots:

The show was opened by Save Me Hollywood and Franco! Good good music indeed from these two acts.. Just right to warm up the crowd!

I am too happy because my favorite Mr. Rico Blanco was the first of the four and I was able to enjoy his entire performance! Awesome music from Fiesto Bandido and his tamboleros! I will always be a fan of Sir Corics and his musical diversity! Well here are my taken memories on photographs:

Next up was Sandwhich with Mr. Raimund Marasigan... Well I was able to get a couple of shots before I went straight to work. Sandwhich gave the high vibe to the crowd!

And I felt a bit bad because I wasn't able to catch up on Barbie and Ely's performances, but I am too sure everyone enjoyed and rocked out with them too!

It was the first ever interactive concert as everyone can shout-out their song requests to the performers! All were active in social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! The event also marked the new price of their prepaid broadband LTE devices, more affordable than before!
